It’s true to say that Valley Gardens is our happy place! As a choir, we love singing there to such appreciative audiences in a lovely setting. This year was no different as we performed the last of our Yorkshire summer concerts on a beautiful sunny Sunday.
We performed a selection of songs, many of which we will be taking to the Edinburgh Fringe where we will sing in three venues over August bank holiday weekend.
The Valley Gardens performance also gave us the opportunity to announce Horticap as our charity for the forthcoming year. Horticap, based at Bluecoat Wood Nurseries, on Otley Road, Harrogate, is an independent charity, providing training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills to adults with learning and other disabilities.
