Singing at York Choir Festival

The Stray Notes took to the stage at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre as part of the York Community Choir Festival, joining four other choirs for the start of a week-long celebration of music in the community.

We chose five of our favourite songs for our performance, starting with the inspiring Let The River Run, followed by A Thousand Years, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, Who But The Lord? and finishing with Coldplay’s haunting The Scientist.

It is always good to have the chance to hear other choirs too and, as ever, we were treated to a variety of music and styles from some great local singers.
