Choir sizzles at summer concert

What a fabulous night at The Stray Notes summer concert, which featured one of our most ambitious repertoires ever. The evening opened with Handel’s choral composition, Zadok the Priest, our biggest challenge to date as a choir. Other highlights included performances of You Raise Me Up by our tenors and basses, and Both Sides Now by our sopranos and altos, plus wonderful solos during a medley of Adele songs and Madonna’s Like A Prayer. This was the first time that we had performed in St Mark’s Church and we loved it – a beautiful setting with great acoustics. Also a big thank you to Knot Another Choir for generously lending us their staging for the evening.
