What an uplifting evening as almost 100 members of The Stray Notes choir sang in the atmospheric setting of the Cellarium at Fountains Abbey. Every seat was taken for our performance at this autumn’s Fountains by Floodlight event, with standing room only at the back for those who were drawn to the sound of our singing as it floated across the night air.
Our repertoire was perfectly suited to the occasion, including a soulful version of California Dreaming, as well as Bridge Over Troubled Water, Adiemus, Who But the Lord, Glorious, Sogno di Volare and the triumphant Zadok the Priest.
