Choir spreads Christmas cheer

The weather outside was frightful but the audience was so delightful! A huge thank you to everyone who turned out in high winds and torrential rain for our annual Christmas concert, held this year at the Wesley Centre, Harrogate. The concert, featuring a mix of popular songs, carols and festive favourites, was just one of a number of Stray Notes performances in the run-up to Christmas. We also sang at Fountains Abbey, Vida Court and Southlands care homes, and Harrogate’s Christmas Market. Our festive events were also an opportunity to raise money for this year’s charity, Frank’s Fund, which was set up by the Ashton family in Harrogate in memory of their 14-year-old son, to help fund research into bone cancer. Thank you to everyone who came to listen to us and for all your generous donations. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
