A summer of sunshine and song

What lovely memories of a fabulous summer of sunshine and singing.

From our July concert at St Mark’s Church in Harrogate to outdoor appearances at Knaresborough Castle and Valley Gardens, the beautiful weather and fantastic audiences combined to make it all memorable.

A highlight of the summer was undoubtedly our musical weekend in the North East, staying in Newcastle and singing in the bandstand at Beamish Museum and the breathtaking setting of Durham Cathedral. The magnificence of the cathedral made singing old favourites like O Love and Who But The Lord, as well as new pieces Ave Maria and Mozart’s Lacrimosa, a truly emotional experience.

And, of course, there was also time for the choir to catch up with each other, while sampling some of Newcastle’s famous nightlife!
